On January 4, at the construction site of the large aircraft ground dynamics test platform for the first phase of the COMAC Changsha Aviation Industry and R & D Base Project, the first set of test equipment gas storage tanks officially entered the site. It marks that the large aircraft ground dynamics test platform jointly built by Hunan Province and COMAC has entered the equipment installation preparation stage, laying a solid foundation for the batch installation of subsequent equipment.
"The equipment entering the site this time simulates the power pump of the aircraft, and then the equipment will be transported into the site one after another. In October this year, the equipment joint commissioning and joint test will be started." Zhang Yingjie, member of the party committee and vice president of Powder Metallurgy Engineering Research Center Co., Ltd. of Central South University, and general manager of Hunan aircraft take-off and landing system Technology Research and Development Co., Ltd., told reporters.
COMAC Changsha Aviation Industry and R & D Base Project is divided into two phases, with a total planned land area of 341 mu. The first phase will mainly build a large aircraft ground dynamics test platform and related supporting facilities, the second phase will focus on the aircraft take-off and landing system to carry out research and development results transformation and supporting industry incubation, to carry out aircraft take-off and landing system test verification, research and development, manufacturing work. The first phase of the project will complete the "first joint pouring" of the slide rail project on November 12, 2021. It is expected to complete the slide rail project, equipment installation and start the joint commissioning test in 2022. Complete the project declaration and acceptance in 2023. After the completion of the project, it will inject strong power into Hunan to build a world-class advanced manufacturing cluster of aviation power.
"The project has been listed as a key construction project in Hunan Province, a new R & D institution in Hunan Province, and ten major technological innovation landmark projects in Changsha City." Jiang Feng, deputy secretary and president of the Party Committee of the Powder Metallurgy Engineering Research Center of Central South University, and executive director of Hunan Aircraft Take-off and Lands System Technology Research and Development Co., Ltd., introduced that it is expected to join the ranks of national scientific installations in five years and strive to apply for the National Technology Innovation Center.
